Today, I learned that it is important for people all around the world to know what is going on in their society and also the world, so that they can learn from other people's crimes and actions, and to know if something happened around the world, it can affect the them and the people around them, it can change how people see certain subjects. News literacy is the ability to read and evaluate the news well, to see if the news article is credible. Newspapers play a role in democracy by letting other people write about their point of view and how they view the situation. The role that we play in terms of news is that if we don't agree with something that happens in our society or the world, we can do something about it, we can protest and adults can display their points of view by voting, and making the presidential representative to approve of a law better for the people.
